Norris Day on January 5, President鈥檚 Day (George Washington's birthday and Abraham Lincoln's birthday), Dr. Martin Luther King Day (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday), Native American Heritage Day, Constitution Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, State Day, Pulaski鈥檚 Memorial Day, State Fire Day, Thanksgiving Day, or on the day or week preceding or following such holiday, if the District鈥檚 schools are not in session,听and El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, Malcolm X Day, on May 19.
